Statewide Mentoring Network Being Formed
Fast Forward Mississippi is forming a statewide mentoring network focused on recruiting young professionals to engage high school and pre-professional youth across the state. The purpose of the network will be to showcase the opportunities that exist for high level careers across a wide spectrum of industries and disciplines. Fast Forward will provide engaging young professionals with presentation materials that can be utilized in talks and presentations to classrooms and youth groups, with the goal being to foster the understanding that a young person can go farther, faster in Mississippi.
This mentoring network will represent the first tangible project stemming from the Mississippi Brain Drain Commission and branded under the Fast Forward Mississippi outreach effort. The network is to be first publicly announced at the 2014 Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) annual conference in Hattiesburg on April 25th.
Young professionals interested in participating in the program are encouraged to contact Fast Forward Mississippi.
